Go Charger Girl!

Alora is skipping Halloween this year to dance along with the Charger Girls on the field at half-time during the Chargers vs Titans game! But how can my little Alora get on the field??  The Charger Girls have put together this opportunity in an effort to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation:

"Now is your chance to be a part of a halftime show with the San Diego Charger Girls and give back to the wonderful Community of San Diego. Participants age seven to fifteen will have the opportunity to perform in front of 65,000+ fans at the Chargers home game on October 31st against the Tennessee Titans. If you have a lot of energy and like to have fun, then this is for you. All it takes is energy and a smile. The Charger Girls will teach you the rest!

Not only will you learn from the NFL's Best Cheerleaders, you'll be raising money to help thousands of San Diegans in need.  Each performer must raise $175 in sponsor pledges. The money raised will help support the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Chargers Community Foundation.  The pledge minimum is required to participate in the half-time show.

 

Make-A-Wish is dedicated to granting the special wishes of children between 2 1/2 and 18 years of age who suffer from life-threatening illnesses. Make-A-Wish believes all children deserve both hope and happiness. Wishes provide a welcome respite from the stress that illnesses place on children and their families, and create lasting, precious memories for the future."

So with a pledge minimum of $175 Alora gets to spend her FIRST Charger game on the field to perform with the Charger Girls PLUS we get to collect donations for this amazing charity. Because we love this whole idea and we feel that the Make-A-Wish Foundation is a great charity we have a goal of raising $500 by October 16th.
